The NC Brazilian Arts Project (NCBAP) Rehearsal Team is a dedicated ensemble of artists specializing in African-Brazilian movement arts, including Capoeira, Samba, Samba Reggae, Afro-Brazilian dance, Maculelê, and percussion. Founded in 2016 by enthusiasts in the Charlotte and Triangle areas, NCBAP aims to deepen knowledge and share the passion for these vibrant cultural expressions. 

The rehearsal team convenes weekly to refine performances, develop new choreography, and prepare for various events. These rehearsals are integral to maintaining the high energy and authenticity that NCBAP is known for.

NCBAP's performers are available for workshops, private classes, open classes, residencies, and educational events. They also specialize in organizing public events aimed at educating and enriching the public with African-Brazilian culture by hosting renowned artists from Brazil for special workshops, classes, performances, and events.
